Weekend Festivities

• Friday, VFW Pancake Breakfast, 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Calvada Eye.

• Friday, Fourth of July parade, 9 a.m., Calvada Eye.

• Friday, Liberty Fest, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Petrack Park, games, vendors, music, food, beer, fireworks begin at 9 p.m., choreographed to music from KNYE.

• Saturday, 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Pahrump Nugget parking lot, live music from the Mason Dixon Band, food, eating contests, games, fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

• Friday, 3 p.m., Maverick Saloon &Dance Hall, 340 E. Mesquite Ave., potluck celebration, karaoke all day.

• Hard Rain, 8:30 p.m., outside on the patio, THE HUBB Bar and Saloon, 3720 West Bell Vista, no cover charge.

Movie in the Park

• Saturday, dusk, “Saving Mr. Banks,” Petrack Park, alcohol-, tobacco- and drug-free event, concessions available, bring chairs or blankets.

Free Swim

• Friday, noon to 7 p.m., donated by Valley Cruisers, Pahrump Community Pool.
