Area school registration information

Immunization clinics

The Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health will hold walk-in immunization clinics on August 11th and 12th from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Parents are asked to bring ID, and the child’s shot record. A $22 admin fee is requested with each immunization but no one is turned away for inability to pay. Donations are accepted. Children with Medicaid must bring Medicaid card. We are sorry but we cannot immunize children with private insurance. Our address is 1981 E. Calvada Blvd., Suite 100.

Pahrump Valley High School

Registration began Monday at Pahrump Valley High School and are by appointment only. Call the registrar’s offSice at 727-7737 extension 3032 or come in to make an appointment.

Beatty High School

Beatty High School will hold registration from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Aug. 4-6.

Amargosa Elementary and Middle School

The school office will be open starting July 28 to set up appointments for registration.

Rosemary Clarke

Rosemary Clarke Middle School 2014-2015 registration for 6th, 7th and 8th grade students who are new to Pahrump or are transferring from homeschool, private school or Pathways will begin July 21 through Aug. 8, from 8 a.m. to noon. The office will be closed on July 24 and 25 but will reopen on Monday.

The following items are needed for enrollment: birth certificate, immunization record (hepatitis A and B are required for all out of state enrollments. All 7th grade students require Tdap), social security card, proof of residency, parent/guardian ID and grades/transcripts from previous school.

J.G. Johnson

J.G. Johnson Elementary will be open for registration for new students starting on Monday, July 28, from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Parents will need to bring child’s birth certificate, updated shot records, verification of residential address, (such as a utility bill, rent receipt or lease/mortgage contract), guardian photo ID and custody papers, if applicable.

Open house for students will be held on Thursday, Aug. 7, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Assessments for Kindergarten students will be held from noon to 3:30 p.m., of August 5 and from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 6. Appointments last about 30 minutes.

Hafen Elementary

Hafen Elementary will be holding registration for new students starting on Monday, July 28. Registration hours are 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Parents are asked to bring birth certificate, up-to-date shot record, verification of address (utility bill, mortgage or rent receipt), parent or guardian photo ID and any custody papers, if applicable.

The first day of school will be Monday, August 11 for grades K-5.

Floyd Elementary

Floyd Elementary will be accepting new student enrollment starting Monday, July 28. Registration hours will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Manse Elementary

Manse Elementary School will register kindergarten and new students beginning Tuesday July 29, 2014 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Please call the school to arrange for an appointment if the set schedule is a conflict with your work hours.

The documents required are the child’s birth certificate, current immunization record, picture identification of the parent or guardian, proof of residence and legal documents pertaining to child custody if necessary.

Manse will hold an open house on Aug. 7 from 4 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. in the multi-purpose room.
