“Local Author Appreciation Day” at Pahrump Community Library

Tumbleweed Tales Society of Pahrump Community Library is hosting “Local Author Appreciation Day” Saturday, February 22, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., a free event to the public. Local authors from Pahrump and surrounding areas are invited to meet and greet the public at Pahrump Community Library, 701 East Street, Pahrump, NV 89048. Authors will give short talks from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tumbleweed Tales Society round table of poets, writers, artists, and musicians meets first Saturdays of the month (10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) at Pahrump Community Library. Many can share information, experiences on publishing or resources. Also invited are: local publishers, editors, and visual artists who have art published in represented books.

Enjoy a little refreshment; cool jazz music will be performed from 1:00 to 1:30 p.m.
