Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Jan. 15 – Jan. 19. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – CLOSED – MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY;

Tuesday — Spaghetti with meat sauce, squash, colorful salad, whole wheat bread, yogurt with fruit, fruit, soup;

Wednesday – Kielbasa, parsley potatoes, sauerkraut, green beans, peaches, soup;

Thursday — Chicken fingers, fries, glazed carrots, strawberry dessert, soup;

Friday – Clam chowder, turkey sandwich, carrot/celery sticks, fruit, soup.

ACTIVITIES

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; haircuts, 1-3 p.m.;

Wednesday — Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Men’s Breakfast meeting, 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Nathan Adelson seminar, 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1-3 p.m.;

Friday — TOPS meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Jan. 15 – Jan. 19:

One percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — CLOSED – MARTIN LUTHER KING DAY;

Tuesday — Roast beef, red potatoes, peas and carrots, garden salad, fruited gelatin salad, whole wheat roll;

Wednesday — Chicken parmesan, spinach spaghetti, garbanzo bean salad, pineapple chunks;

Thursday — BBQ beef sandwich on whole wheat bun, corn, spinach, coleslaw, tapioca pudding;

Friday — Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs with veggies, low-sodium sausage, yogurt with fruit, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Jan. 8 – Jan. 12:

One percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Monday – CLOSED – MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. DAY;

Tuesday – Lasagna, chopped spinach, garlic bread, fresh orange;

Wednesday – Chef’s salad, turkey bean soup, diced pears, cookie, whole wheat roll;

Thursday – Spaghetti and meat sauce, baked acorn squash, 7-grain bread, strawberry-banana yogurt pop, colorful salad;

Friday – Lemon baked fish, broccoli stuffed potato, steamed carrots, beet salad, whole wheat bread, honeydew melon.
