Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of May 23 – May 27. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Beef stew, noodles, salad, biscuit, fruit, soup;

Tuesday — Pulled pork sandwich, pasta salad, corn, banana, soup;

Wednesday — Turkey pot pie, mixed salad, whole wheat bread, baked apple, soup;

Thursday — Chicken Cordon Bleu, parsley potatoes, green beans, Jell-O with fruit, soup;

Friday – Hamburger w/cheese, lettuce-tomato-onion, baked beans, fruit, soup.

Activities

Monday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 1 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; bunco, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1-3 p.m.;

Wednesday — Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Old Men’s Club meeting, 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippits Knitting &Crochet Group, 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1-3 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7-9 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Sam Merlino, voter registration, 10 a.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of May 23 – May 27:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Spinach lasagna, garlic bread, mixed fruit, colorful salad;

Tuesday — Chicken broccoli rice, beet salad, apricot bran muffin, honeydew/cantaloupe melon;

Wednesday — Sweet and sour pork, brown rice pilaf, steamed cauliflower, layered salad, whole wheat roll, peaches;

Thursday — BBQ ribs, sour cream potato salad, corn on the cob, steamed broccoli, fresh banana;

Friday — Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt w/fresh fruit, oatmeal, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of May 23 – May 27:

Two percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Chicken teriyaki, fried rice, layered salad, fresh orange, 1% milk;

Thursday — Steak strips smothered with onions, mashed potatoes w/brown gravy, dinner roll, snap green beans, tossed salad w/red wine vinaigrette, pears.
