Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Sept. 30 – Oct. 4: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — meat loaf, mashed potatoes, green beans and bacon, pudding;

Tuesday — spaghetti and meatballs, green beans, applesauce;

Wednesday — brats, potato pancakes, braised cabbage, ice cream;

Thursday — chicken pot pie, broccoli, pudding;

Friday — salmon patty, brown rice, creamed peas, bread pudding.

Activities

Monday — beading class, 12:30 p.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; flu shot clinic, 9:15 a.m. to 1 p.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 30 – Oct. 4:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday — chicken cacciatore, glazed carrots, cucumbers in sour cream, whole wheat rolls, orange rice pudding;

Tuesday — cheese enchiladas, refried beans, Spanish rice, green salad, peach crisp;

Wednesday — chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed veggies, green salad, oranges;

Thursday — herb baked chicken, mashed sweet potatoes, Brussels sprouts, green salad, baked apples;

Friday — Breakfast: French toast, bacon, hash browns, pears, coffee, orange juice, tea.
