The 2013 Relay for Life committee would like to thank everyone who attended the “Mask Out Cancer” Mardi Gras party at the Nugget on Tuesday, Feb. 12. 

Over 100 people came and enjoyed the music by Wendy Thompson King, food provided by the Nugget, the silent auction of the Mardi Gras masks and the various booths offering fundraising items for sale. 

A special thank you to the Pahrump Nugget for their sponsorship, the Pahrump Valley Times, The Mirror, KNYE radio, KPVM TV,  all the survivors who attended, the committee members for their hard work, and Survivor Chair Kathy Butkovich, who was in charge of the party. 

The Relay this year will be held on May 17 and 18 at Petrack Park starting at 6 p.m., Friday night and running until noon on Saturday.
