We have known Tina Trenner and her husband Doug to be leaders of the animal rights movement from Las Vegas. They have been arrested for impersonating humane officials in Ohio, when they were working for PETA.
Since they have moved from Vegas —with an agenda — to Nye County, their sole objective is to commandeer our rural lifestyle with animals. This is not intended to be a “back and forth” argument, but purely to illuminate who the players are that would attempt to deny due process and interfere and treat others differently because of their despise of others’ lifestyle choices.
Again, to parrot a ten-year-old “alleged” action is a cue from that four letter word groups playbook. Admit what you are Ms. Trenner … a PETA person with a long and well known history as a disciple of hatred for our choices to live with animals in a loving, peaceful, healthy, rural and safe environment.
You obviously have little regard for others’ basic human rights as described in the Constitution and the Bible. Your “all-knowing” indictment of our lifestyle is proof of your arrogance and sense of self-importance.
The FCC took your radio broadcasting license due to your activities. Take a walk on your sidewalk to nowhere … (Hwy. 372) and keep our name out of your mouth.
There is no record or proof of animals ever, ever, escaping from Karl Mitchell or Big Cat Encounters.
The continued rehash of a folk tale of tigers “running” around Pahrump is just that, a fabrication and folk tale.
Just ask Mr. McCarty at Animal Control. He will confirm that this myth is just that.

Decision and Order, issued December 21, 2010, and Order Denying Petition for Reconsideration, issued March 8, 2011, by JO Jensen (finding multiple violations of the AWA and regulations, and assessing joint civil penalties of $67,000 and assessing Karl Mitchell an additional civil penalty of $19,500 for 12 knowing failures to obey cease and desist orders issued by the Secretary in In re Karl Mitchell, 57 Agric . Dec. 972 (1998), and In re Karl Mitchell, 60 Agric. Dec. 647 (2001). The JO’s decision has become final. The civil penalties have not been paid.
Copies of these decisions are enclosed.
The repeating of 2001, 12 year old case, was in fact due to USDA not accepting attorney’s answers to their complaint. In 2005, fines were dismissed in Federal Court. In 2009, Federal judge ruled that we are a private, not open to the public..shelter. A USDA license in NOT required to appear occassionally with our personal pets. We are not dependent on income from the cats for our lifestyle. Never met you Lon…but God Bless you!! Peace out!!
And to Angel….fines from 2001 were dismissed in Federal Court in 2005, despite Mr. Gibbons statement. In 2009, Mr. Gibbons attempted to persuade the court to fine us over $1,000,000 in fines. The judge dismissed 99% of his scurrilous allegations. The remaining fines are up for appeal in Supreme Court. Never met you either, must be housebound!! God Bless you as well!!
Ms. Mitchell, the USDA DOES require a license for any exhibiting of a big cat, even if it is a personal pet. Below is more I found:
“The AWA requires persons who engage in the exhibition of warm-blooded animals to the public to be licensed, and authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to assess civil penalties and to suspend or revoke licenses in the event of violations. 7 U.S.C. ss. 2133, 2149(b).
Please be advised that neither Karl Mitchell, nor any of his affiliated businesses, holds a valid AWA license. The license previously held by Mr. Mitchell (No. 88-C-0076) was revoked by order of the Secretary of Agriculture in 2001. Moreover, by regulation (9 C.F.R. ss. 2.1O(b), 2.11(a)), Mr. Mitchell may not be issued another AWA license. The AWA regulations bar a person whose license has been revoked from buying, selling, transporting, delivering for transport, or exhibiting any animal.”
Just wondering Ms. Mitchell why no one has ever seen proof that any of the fines were dismissed as you say they were(?) Any and all judicial decisions come with documentation.
Come to think of it, just wondering why there is no proof (documentation) of ANYTHING you say??
You have to keep in mind that this is ALL a private matter not subject to debate by outsiders like yourself. If you are so aware of the regulations, maybe you should start to search records in federal court in Las Vegas, Nv. We are under NO obligation to furnish ANY documentation to you or your ilk. The issue at hand is land use and safety. Karl Mitchell or Blue Man Group…it doesn’t matter…the issue, is LAND USE AND SAFETY!! Both are approved by county staff. Bye bye!!

I myself have a lot of photos taken out at the dry lake bed and many other places,on many occasions,for many reasons. Any chance Karl gets to make a buck on the animals or try to promote his self, he takes it. I worked with him for a year and a half every day all day and most nights raising babies and caring for all the other animals.So i know of how he works real well! Kayla is mis informed on a lot of issues concerning Karl’s doings, wrapping herself into his troubles like a good lil wife. ( I told you that you would be sorry!)I see that she too will lie to get what she wants, he taught her well or they are a match made in…. -heaven? NOT! Laughing totally out loud!! I am not a member of PETA. I have NEVER been arrested for anything ever in my life. I am not an animal rights person although I really care about animals and have worked with many animal rights people to alleviate animal abuse. Many years ago I considered myself animal rights but found that some of them are sometimes as bad as the animal abusers…. I would work with some of them right now if someone was mistreating animals.There are many I would not work with. We sold our station KNEWS in Vegas and you can check that with the FCC…it was not “taken away”. This is a joke…and slanderous I might add.
