A man arrested earlier this month for allegedly possessing child pornography and marijuana was arrested again this weekend after he allegedly tried to intimidate several witnesses in the case against him.
Joseph Francis Schneider, 53, was taken into police custody Saturday evening around 9 p.m. after Nye County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the home of a local woman for a report of threats being made against her son.
According to a declaration of arrest in the case, when deputies arrived at the woman’s address she informed them that Schneider had come to the residence around 5 p.m. looking for her son.
She said she asked Schneider to leave, but he instead entered the home through the rear door and began yelling for the male he was looking for.
The victim further told police once Schneider had made his way inside, he pulled a silver pipe out of his pocket and began threatening to kick her son’s a** while holding the object in a threatening manner.
Further investigation revealed that the woman who called to report the incident and her son are both witnesses against Schneider in a case he was arrested for on Feb. 6 involving child pornography and illegal narcotics.
Police then relocated to Schneider’s home in the 100 block of Barbara Ave., to speak with their suspect about the threats he had allegedly made earlier that evening.
Schneider allegedly admitted to deputies that he had asked his uncle to take him over to the victim’s address so he could confront the victim’s son about accusations that were made against him.
He was subsequently placed under arrest for two counts of intimidating a witness, burglary, assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit burglary before being transported to the Nye County Detention Center to be booked into police custody once again.
Schneider was first arrested in the case two weeks ago after NCSO detectives served a search warrant on his home looking for evidence of child pornography and narcotics.
During their search, officers reportedly found 12 marijuana plants growing inside the man’s garage and various drug paraphernalia throughout the home.
Police also reportedly found computers in Schneider’s residence containing at least five videos and pictures of children under the age of 16 involved in sexual acts.

To bad she didn’t have one of Bidens shotguns! A round 6″ below the belly button would take care of the intimination problem. And the perversion problem.
