DVH hosts holiday open house this weekend

To help celebrate the arrival of the holiday season, Desert View Hospital is inviting members of the Pahrump community to attend a holiday open house at the facility this weekend.

From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday Desert View will have a number of family-friendly, holiday-themed activities going on inside the hospital’s main lobby for members of the public to enjoy.

There will be a professional photographer on hand to take children’s photos with Santa and a variety of holiday treats for attendees to also take part in as they walk through the hospital’s decorated lobby.

Additionally Desert View has said it plans to set up a remembrance tree at the event as well, where people can come in and place the name of a loved one or someone they would like to remember on the tree, which will then be on display throughout the rest of the holiday season in the hospital lobby.

Photos taken with Santa at the event will be ready for pickup at the hospital by Wednesday, or if participants choose, can be sent to them in the mail if they leave a forwarding address.

For more information on the open house those interested can contact Kowalski by phone at 775-751-7120 or by email at meagan.kowalski@dvrmc.org.
