Eric Trump to visit Pahrump on Friday

Eric Trump, son of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, will visit Pahrump on Friday.

Trump is scheduled to appear at 10:30 a.m. at the former Tommasino’s restaurant located at 250 Humahuaca Street. Doors will open at 10 a.m.

Nye County Republican Central Committee Chair Joe Burdzinski said Eric Trump will stop in Pahrump at the invitation of the Nye County Republican Central Committee.

“We are looking forward to Eric Trump’s visit in Pahrump and invite residents of Nye County to join us in welcoming Eric Trump,” Burdzinski said.

The stop comes in the middle of early voting in Nevada, which will last until Nov. 4.

The seating at the event will be limited to 130 people, according to Nye County Republican Central Committee’s press release.

Nevada is among a number of battleground states being contested in the General Election. However, a recent Las Vegas Review-Journal poll showed Hillary Clinton, the Democratic presidential nominee, with a 7-point lead over Trump, 48 percent to 41 percent.

Eric Trump visited Pahrump before the Nevada Republican Caucus in February.
