Graduation special section available in Pahrump, Beatty

Extra copies of the graduation special section that appeared in the Pahrump Valley Times on Wednesday are to be available for pickup in Pahrump and Beatty.

In Pahrump, plans call for the special sections to be available Friday evening, free of charge, at the entrance to graduation ceremonies for Pahrump Valley High School’s Class of 2017. The special sections also can be obtained through purchase of Wednesday’s edition of the Pahrump Valley Times, sold during business hours at the newspaper’s office 1570 E. Highway 372.

In Beatty, the graduation sections are available free of charge at the U.S. Post Office off U.S. Highway 95 in the town. Beatty High School’s graduation was this past Monday.

In Pahrump, commencement ceremonies for Pahrump Valley High School are set for 8 p.m. today at the school’s football field. More than 230 seniors are expected to make the “walk.”

The event is free to the public.

The school is at 501 E. Calvada Blvd.
