Pahrump resident Douglas Todd Lund, 61, was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly sexually abusing two juvenile females.
Nye County Sheriff’s deputies took a report from the two victims on Tuesday alleging that Lund had been sexually lewd with them on several occasions.
“We got information on Sept. 20 in reference to a sex assault,” said Nye County Sheriff Tony DeMeo. “The mother of the child contacted us and we proceeded with the investigation.”
It was alleged that Lund had been sexually lewd with the two victims on dozens of instances during a time period spanning several years.
The victims live in a rural area within Nye County. Very little information is being released to the public in order to protect victims’ identities. Even the ages of the girls could not be released due to the small community in which they reside.
“I talked to Det. David Boruchowitz about releasing their ages and he said that it basically could identify the victims,” said the sheriff.
Lund was arrested and booked into the Nye County Detention Center on two counts of lewdness with a child under 14 and two counts of sexual abuse with a child under 14.
He was released the same day after posting $30,000 bail. He is expected to appear in Justice of the Peace Kent Jasperson’s court on Nov. 22.
Anyone with any additional information relating to Lund and these crimes is urged to contact the Nye County Sheriff’s Office at 775-751-7008 or via email at <a href=ncso_detectives@co.nye.nv.us>ncso_detectives@co.nye.nv.us.

Its a good thing I am not a judge. Because all of these child molesters, rapists, sick preverted people would be CASTRATED, before they were sent to prison for the rest of their pathetic lives. It never stops.
