Pahrump residents Desiree Lynn Fortin, 21; Loretta Fortin, 42; and Steve Witherell, 22, were arrested for burglary, transfer of stolen property, conspiracy to commit a crime, possession of stolen property and grand larceny on Sept. 18 by members of the Nye County Sheriff’s Office SCORPION Task Force.
Loretta is Desiree Fortin’s mother.
A Task Force investigation allegedly found that Desiree and Loretta Fortin were in possession of a television stolen from a vacant home that had been inspected by Steve Witherell at the request of the bank that had taken possession of the house. Witherell’s business is conducting inspections on foreclosed homes.
Detectives found that Desiree Fortin accompanied Steve Witherell at the time the television was taken from the vacant residence. The TV set was taken to Loretta Fortin’s home and according to a report from the sheriff’s office, the allegedly stolen television set was transferred to another person.
The report also said, “Detectives believe there could potentially be many more victims. It is anticipated additional suspects will be identified and arrested in the near future.” The investigation is ongoing.

I am just a Jew, but listen! Neither one of them, Steve and Desiree, were ever arrested for anything having to do with drugs. You sit here all day talking s*** about other people? Damn, you should read a book or acquire some kind of hobby.
