BACKGROUND: “I’ve been a marketing director for a software company in Tennessee and I’m a licensed cosmetologist. I worked in the restaurant business all through college.”

FIRST JOB: “ I worked in a Dairy Queen in Kingston, Tenn., when I was 15.

YEARS IN BUSINESS: “I’ve Lived in Pahrump since 2003 and have been working here since then.

“We give back to the community and support little league, the Pahrump Youth Softball Association and have sponsored all-star players. This year we are also sponsoring Pop Warner football.

The business is a member of the chamber and we are members of LeTip. I am the president of PYSA. We’ve sponsored various fundraisers for cancer patients and community youth groups.”

PERSONAL: “We have a boat at Lake Mead and enjoy spending time there. I like to travel, read, entertain with barbecues in my back yard and spend time sitting in my living room because I work seven days a week.”

BUSINESS CLIMATE:

“I support shopping locally whenever you can to support the businesses here.

“Our business wasn’t difficult to open. It was already an established bar and restaurant. It’s been good and getting better. We’ve created a family atmosphere and have become a place to hold team parties, birthday parties and a meeting place for clubs and organizations.
