GAS CREEP

The slow slide of low fuel prices continues with a drop of 2 cents per gallon for the lowest regular price found at two gas stations in Pahrump on Tuesday. The price has dropped nearly 37 cents in five weeks.

The total wagered at the state's 194 sports books for Sunday's Super Bowl, according to the Nevada Gaming Control Board. Last year wagers totaled $116 million.

The sports books did well with underdog Denver Broncos winning the Super Bowl, giving the casinos a hold percentage of 10.1. Last year's hold was 2.8 percent, or $3.2 million.
