Thank you for the community support

The Friends of the Pahrump Community Library held their annual Big Book Sale on April 10th and 11th. A very successful event, all profits will go toward the support of our Pahrump library.

We wish to express our thanks for this success to many in our community: to the Nugget Casino for the use of the conference center and equipment, to the local media: KNYE Radio, and the Pahrump Valley Times; and to the Friends of the Library who volunteered to organize and manage the sale.

But most of all, we wish to thank the many who donated the books which were recycled for this sale, and the public who took the time to come, browse and purchase so many items. A “good read” will be had by all!

Friends membership is open to all interested in the enhancement of literacy and the company of caring citizens. Monthly meetings, on the third Saturday, include a presentation by an author.

Please visit us in our Friends book room inside the library. We are open during Library hours.
