Boys drop tough game to Western

The Trojans boys basketball team gave up too many points in the first half last Friday night in a 60-41 losing effort. Pahrump Valley's (2-9 overall, 0-4 Sunset League) defense couldn't hold the Warriors, trailing 39-15 at half.

This would make the difference as the Trojans outscored Western 26 to 21 in the second half.

Danny Foss led the team in scoring with 11 points, Nolan Toomer had 10 and Bryce Odegard had 9 points.

The Trojans hosted second place Faith Lutheran (9-3, 2-0) last night, which was past deadline and then faces sixth place Mojave (6-6, 1-3), also at home at 6:30 p.m. this Friday.
