PVHS seniors honored at game

By Vern Hee

The Trojans boys basketball team honored their seniors last night as they engaged the Faith Lutheran Crusaders at home. The game was too late to post the score.

It was the last game of the season and Brian Hayes, head Trojans coach, said he promised all his seniors would play.

“As for the Faith Lutheran game, we plan on letting our seniors run the show,” said Hayes. “At this point in time, we are not playing for much, so we are going to ride the seniors until they need a breather, then get them right back in the game.”

The following are seniors that were honored at last night’s game:

Dalton Beighley, Adam Brand, Quon Cotton, Billy Palmore, DJ Montgomery and Hunter Mills.

The Trojans boys lost to Mojave 63-32 on Tuesday. They were without point guard, Billy Palmore, who cracked his hip in a collision with a Western player last Friday night.

Palmore is out for the season and his participation is questionable for the track season.

The squad finished the season at 5-20 and 1-8 in league, tying the Western Warriors for last place.
