Little League World Series: The Las Vegas team, Mountain Ridge, advances to the U.S. title game on Saturday at 12:30 p.m., after beating the Philadelphia team and Mo’ne Davis 8-1. The team did it with hitting and defense as they belted 2 home runs in the game.

Bowling News: The PVTBC will hold a 9-6-9 doubles tournament on Aug. 30 at the Pahrump Nugget at 1 p.m. The tournament is open to all PVTBC members.

Horseshoe Tournament: Fall Festival on Sept. 28 at Petrack Park Horseshoe Pits ( next to Pool). Everyone is welcome to play. Entree fee $10 per player. This is a great opportunity to learn how to play horseshoes. This is a town event so come on and have some fun. Any questions contact: Mike Norton 775-537-0542.
