Bowling News: At the Pahrump Nugget: Perfect scores: Bowler Mary Martinez bowled a perfect game on Feb. 26. Nocky Roach bowled a 300 game on Feb. 9 and then turned around and bowled another one on Feb. 23, Bernard Curtis bowled a 300 on Feb. 12.

Donkey Basketball is coming: Mark your calendar for March 6 at the PVHS gym at 7 p.m. The evening is full of laughs for the entire family and it helps the high school and middle school to raise funds for special programs to reward students.

In golf news: Jack Ring shot a hole-in-one on hole number one on March 3 at Lakeview Executive Golf Course.

Special Olympics: The Parents Advisory Committee is having a car wash thanks to Car Studio which is providing the location, supplies and some help. We need to provide the labor to wash cars, hold the signs and sell baked goods and Torch Run T-shirts. We also need people to greet those who will be donating to Pahrump Special Olympics

There will be a raffle for a bike and other donated gifts. So if you’re not at NASCAR come by and support the cause.

McDonald’s is providing lunch for the athletes and volunteers.

Basketball practice has been moved to 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. We will be taking the team photos so please bring a black t-shirt and uniforms will be there.

The Trojans softball team suffered their first loss this season against a school from a neighboring state on Monday, but it also added a win in a weekend game against Moapa Valley (2-1) at home.

Trojans girls basketball moves on to the quarterfinals
