The Las Vegas Area Council’s annual Mountain Man Rendezvous returned to David Spicer’s ranch in Beatty again last weekend, with around 2,000 Boy Scouts and leaders participating in a wide variety of mountain man and Native American themed activities. The weather was cool and damp, but, as one staff member put it, “It’s mountain man. Mountain men have to cope.”
