First job: “I grew up on the farm and so working on the farm was my first job. Then at 19, I went to work in a beauty salon.”
Background: “I moved to Pahrump around 2000 and worked in a casino until I got licensed to work in a hair salon. Then I opened my own hair salon and tanning place. After that I opened a trading post on Highway 372.”
Years in business: “Our business has yet to open, but I have run my own business now for 20 years or more.”
Personal: “I enjoy the outdoors and this means fishing and hunting. I also like to ride quads and go camping. One of my favorite things to do is to fish with my father in North Dakota.”
Business Climate: “We take old junk and it turn it into furniture. No one else does that in this town so I think we will do well. I will also be selling crafts too. I think the economy has turned around and we will be able to do this.”
