Background: “I basically got started in this business through my mother. I needed a career. I love what I do and I started in Las Vegas. I moved out to Pahrump and was here from 1991 to 2007. I then went back to Las Vegas to work and manage JW Marriot Spa from 2008 to 2013. From there I worked on my own private business. I am a manicurist and do spray tans and pedicures. I use organic products that are known in the big hotels in Las Vegas.”
Personal: “I love the outdoors. I like to hike and go boating. I also like to do yoga.”
First job: “I worked at a restaurant in Las Vegas called Hush Puppies, which is still out there.”
Business climate: “Times are better here in Pahrump. We have a better atmosphere than most salons. The big salons are very active and we are trying to go for a soothing atmosphere. We want a family-oriented and tranquil atmosphere.”
