Years in business: “We have been open since May.”
Background: “I have been in Pahrump for 20 years. In that time, I worked an auction house here in town for a year and a half. When the auction house closed, I leased the building to do consignments. We have booth spaces for antique dealers, artists, crafters and household stuff. We even have a person selling firearms. We are open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.”
First job: “I worked for the local parks and recreation maintenace department as a youth.”
Personal: “I work so much lately but I like to work with 4H kids doing show rabbits.”
Business climate: “When the old place closed down, I got good feedback from people saying there is a great need for a place like mine. We are not a thrift store. We sell a lot of collectibles and jewelry. We even have furniture and appliances and crafts from local artists. That’s why we call ourselves an emporium. I think we are a great place to find a good deal and are prices are reasonable.”
