Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: Oct. 12 – Oct. 16. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — country fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, pudding, soup;

Tuesday — chicken taco casserole, mexicorn, churros, soup;

Wednesday — ham steak, au gratin potatoes, peas, cake, soup;

Thursday — BBQ chicken, baked potato, cauliflower, yogurt, soup;

Friday – cheeseburger, baked beans, ice cream, soup.

 

Activities

Monday — Haircuts, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; square dance class, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Sheila Winn, End of Life Planning, 9 a.m. to noon; SHIP open enrollment, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Humana open enrollment, 10 a.m.; Congressman Cresent Hardy’s office rep., 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.; Old Men’s Club breakfast, 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.; Senior Dimensions open enrollment, 10 a.m.; Stovall Legal Services, call 727-5008 for appt.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; Sheila Winn, “End of Life Planning”, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

 

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 12 – Oct. 16

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — chicken and broccoli, egg rolls, egg drop soup, pineapple, fortune cookie;

Tuesday — hot dogs, chili, sauerkraut, potato wedges, watermelon;

Wednesday —fish, rice, mixed vegetables, ice cream sandwich, pears;

Thursday — spaghetti with meat sauce, squash, garlic bread, colorful salad, yogurt, pears;

Friday — baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli, biscuit, peaches.

 

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 12 – Oct. 16

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Monday — beef nacho casserole, Spanish rice, orange spinach salad, frijoles Charros, purple plums;

Tuesday — Monte Cristo sandwich, fresh veggies w/dip, peaches, vegetable soup, pineapple upside-down cake;

Wednesday — chef salad, chips and salsa, tropical fruit, chocolate chip cookie;

Thursday — Emeril Lagasse beef stew, steamed broccoli, green salad, baked hush puppies, baked apples;

Friday — biscuit and gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage, yogurt and fruit, oatmeal, orange juice.
