Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Oct. 23 – Oct. 27: Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Smothered burrito, corn, Spanish rice, salad, fruit cup, soup;

Tuesday — Ham steak, scalloped potatoes, green beans, pineapple cake, split pea soup;

Wednesday – Beef patty on whole wheat bun, baked beans, tomato/lettuce/onion, fruit, soup;

Thursday — Sweet and sour pork, brown rice, cauliflower, salad, whole wheat bread, fruit, soup;

Friday – CLOSED – Nevada Day.

ACTIVITIES

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Senior Health Plans open enrollment, 10 a.m.;

Wednesday —Senior Dimensions open enrollment, 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.; Blind Support, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Infinity Hospice seminar, 10 a.m.; Rippets (knitting and crocheting), 11 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Friday — CLOSED – Nevada Day

Saturday – Annual Halloween Dance, 6 p.m. – 10 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 23 – Oct. 27:

One percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Southwestern BBQ chicken sandwich, baked beans, carrot sticks, pineapple chunks;

Tuesday — Oven fried chicken, baked potato, peas and carrots, garden salad, wheat bread, fruited gelatin dessert;

Wednesday — Roast pork tenderloin, potato salad, baked beans, spring salad, tropical fruit cup, simmered beans with bacon;

Thursday — Taco casserole, Spanish rice, seasoned zucchini, pumpkin bread, banana, apricots;

Friday — CLOSED – Nevada Day.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 23 – Oct. 27:

One percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Monday – Chicken and dumplings, green peas, carrot-raisin salad, whole wheat salad, fruit cocktail;

Tuesday — Turkey fajita on whole wheat tortilla, Spanish rice, ranch style beans, chopped spinach, low-fat, low-sodium French dressing, pineapple chunks;

Wednesday – Hamburger with lettuce and tomato, ranch beans, herbed potato wedges, mixed fruit, brownie;

Thursday — Chicken teriyaki, fried rice, layered salad, fresh orange, whole wheat roll.
