The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Sept. 11 – Sept. 15. Two percent milk and juice available daily:
Monday – Chicken Caesar salad, celery/carrot sticks, apple crisp, navy bean soup;
Tuesday — Tater Tot cheeseburger casserole, green beans, fruit, soup;
Wednesday – Spaghetti and meatballs, squash, salad, 7-grain bread, low-sodium margarine, yogurt with fruit, soup;
Thursday — BBQ chicken, broccoli, cucumber in sour cream, biscuit with honey, ambrosia, soup;
Friday – Goulash with noodles, peas and carrots, salad, whole wheat bread, low-sodium margarine, pears, soup.

Thursday — Men’s Club breakfast, 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Infinity Hospice seminar, 10 a.m.; Rippits (knitting and crochet group), 10:30 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.;
Friday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.
Amargosa Valley Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 11 – Sept. 15:
One percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Monday — Chicken tenders, green beans, broccoli salad, sugar-free gelatin;
Tuesday — Hot turkey sandwich, peas and carrots, tomatoes vinaigrette, Rice Krispie treat, fresh orange sections;
Wednesday — Roast pork tenderloin, potato salad, honey dijon vegetables, 3-bean salad, tangy yogurt salad dressing, squash/zucchini slices, fruit cocktail;
Thursday — Spaghetti and meat sauce, baked acorn squash, colorful salad, fat-free creamy Italian dressing, 7-grain bread, low-sodium/low-fat margarine, strawberry/banana yogurt pop;
Friday — Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs with sautéed vegetables, oatmeal, fresh fruit in season, orange juice.
Beatty Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 11 – Sept. 15:
One percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Tuesday — Spaghetti and meat sauce, baked squash, colorful salad, whole wheat garlic toast, strawberry/banana yogurt pop;
Wednesday – Garlic roasted chicken, seasoned egg noodles, mixed veggies, apple slices, lentil soup;
Thursday — Lemon baked fish, peas, brown rice, tossed salad, whole wheat roll, grapes.
