Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: March 7 – March 11. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — sloppy joes, peas and carrots, celery sticks, apple crisp, soup;

Tuesday — sweet and sour pork, brown rice, cauliflower, salad, whole wheat bread, oranges, soup;

Wednesday — chicken pasta primavera, colorful salad, garlic bread, orange pineapple mold, soup;

Thursday — country fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, peaches, soup;

Friday – eggplant parmesan, spinach spaghetti, carrot salad, garlic bread, fruited yogurt pie, soup.

Activities

Monday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1-3 p.m.;

Wednesday — Humana, 10 a.m.; Alzheimers, 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Old Men’s Club breakfast, 7-9 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; haircuts, 1–3 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7-9 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of March 7 – March 11

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — potato corn chowder, grilled cheese sandwich, orange spinach salad, tropical fruit cup;

Tuesday — beef stir fry, steamed white rice, beet salad, whole wheat bread, mandarin oranges;

Wednesday — fish tacos, shredded cabbage and lime, Pico de Gallo, pears, Jell-O;

Thursday — BBQ chicken, sour cream potato salad, steamed spinach, corn on the cob, whole wheat roll, fresh banana;

Friday — egg and sausage bake, apricots, banana, oatmeal, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of March 7 – March 11

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Monday — chicken and dumplings, green peas, carrot and raisin salad, whole wheat l/s crackers, fruit cocktail;

Tuesday — Swiss steak, baked potato w/ shredded Colby jack, fat free sour cream and chives, herbed veggie medley, whole wheat bread w/ peach butter;

Wednesday — scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, oatmeal, banana, apple juice;

Thursday — supreme pizza, beets, cucumber, melon, Jell-O with whipped topping;

Friday — turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, stuffing, peas, mandarin oranges
