Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Aug. 8 – Aug. 12. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Swedish meatballs, Normandy veggies, spinach salad, yogurt with fruit, soup;

Tuesday — Corn/potato chowder, turkey sandwich, carrot raisin salad, strawberries, soup;

Wednesday — Chili cheese fries, salad, carrot/celery sticks, fruit cup, soup;

Thursday — Chicken pasta primavera, colorful salad w/garbanzo beans, garlic bread, Jell-O/fruit mold, soup;

Friday – Battered cod, rice pilaf, salad, Brussel sprouts, fruit, soup.

Activities

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Humana, 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippets (knitting/crocheting), 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Aug. 8 – Aug. 12:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Turkey chili, cornbread, mixed green salad, ambrosia;

Tuesday — Chicken teriyaki, fried rice, layered salad, fresh orange;

Wednesday — Shepherd’s pie, whole wheat roll, garden salad, pears;

Thursday — Roast pork tenderloin, potato salad, honey Dijon vegetables, spring salad, tangy yogurt salad dressing, tropical fruit cup, beans w/bacon;

Friday — Egg and sausage bake, banana, peaches, cottage cheese, oatmeal, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Aug. 8 – Aug. 12:

Two percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Chicken teriyaki, fried rice, layered salad, fresh orange;

Thursday — Lemon baked fish, whole wheat roll, green peas, long-grain brown rice, tossed salad, creamy Italian dressing, grapes.
