Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Oct. 21 – Oct. 25: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — shepherd’s pie, corn, bread sticks, carrot cake;

Tuesday — baked ziti, garlic bread, Normandy veggies, fruit cup;

Wednesday — fried chicken, mashed potatoes, cauliflower, sliced pears;

Thursday — pot roast with vegetables and potatoes, dinner rolls, apple crisp;

Friday — shrimp scampi, glazed carrots, rice pudding.

Activities

Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 1 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; SHIPP, 9:30 a.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; Senior Dimensions open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; Stovall real estate services, call 727-5008 for appointment.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; United Healthcare open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 21 – Oct.25:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Monday — three-bean chili, cornbread, cauliflower, green salad, brownies;

Tuesday — pork chow mein, steamed rice, broccoli, pineapple slices, peanut cookie;

Wednesday — beef stir-fry, steamed white rice, beet salad, whole wheat bread, Mandarin oranges;

Thursday — turkey divan, potato wedges, braised red cabbage, whole wheat roll, chocolate chip cookie;

Friday — Breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, peaches, coffee, orange juice, tea.
