Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Oct. 28 – Nov. 1: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — beef stew, dinner rolls, applesauce;

Tuesday — chicken alfredo with fettuccini, spinach, peach crisp;

Wednesday — Salisbury steak, potatoes au gratin, creamed peas, cake;

Thursday — Italian sausage, pasta salad, brownies;

Friday — smothered chicken, potatoes au gratin. Green beans, fruit cup.

Activities

Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 1 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; Humana open enrollment, 9:30 a.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; blind support, 9:30 p.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; Halloween costume contest;

Friday — Infinity Hospice seminar, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 28 – Nov. 1:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — lasagna, acorn squash, green salad, garlic bread, bananas;

Tuesday — mustard chicken, scalloped potatoes, peas and carrots, coleslaw, strawberry shortcake;

Wednesday — liver and onions, mashed potatoes with gravy, corn, whole wheat roll, tomatoes vinaigrette, sliced peaches;

Thursday — turkey pot pie, zucchini, salad, applesauce, ginger snap cookies;

Friday — Breakfast: scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, fruit cocktail, coffee, orange juice, tea.
