Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Dec. 30 – Jan. 4: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — beef stir-fry, rice, pudding;

Tuesday — shrimp scampi, angel hair pasta, Brussels sprouts, cake;

Wednesday — closed, New Year’s Day;

Thursday — fried chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, fruit cup;

Friday — beef stew, dinner roll, peas and carrots, brownies.

Activities

Monday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; hair cuts, 9 a.m.;

Tuesday — no information available;

Wednesday — closed, New Year’s Day;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Dec. 30 – Jan. 4:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — steak gyros, lettuce, tomato, feta and ranch sauce, Greek salad, peanut cookies;

Tuesday — barbecue pork ribs, baked potato, glazed carrots, steamed broccoli, mixed fruit, bread pudding;

Wednesday — closed, New Year’s Day;

Thursday — egg salad sandwich, lettuce and tomato, macaroni and cheese, chocolate pudding;

Friday — Breakfast: waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, oatmeal, fruit cocktail, coffee, orange juice, tea.
