Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of May 19 – May 23: 2 percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — pork chops, scalloped potatoes, green beans, applesauce;

Tuesday — country fried steak with gravy, mashed potatoes, broccoli, peach crisp;

Wednesday — bacon-wrapped stuffed pepper, Spanish rice, mexicorn, churros;

Thursday — herb baked chicken, potatoes au gratin, carrots, fruit cup;

Friday — cheeseburgers, fries, carrots and celery, cake.

Activities

Monday —exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; poker, 1 p.m.; haircuts, 9 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; blood pressure and glucose checks, 9:30 a.m.;

Tuesday — bridge, 12:30 p.m.; diabetes seminar, 9:30 a.m.; Humana, 9:30 a.m.;

Wednesday — Walmart, 9:30 a.m.; crafty ladies, 12:30 p.m.; United Healthcare team meeting, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; Memorial Day service, 10:30 a.m.;

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of May 19 – May 23:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — barbecue pork ribs, scalloped potatoes, green beans, whole wheat roll, mixed fruit;

Tuesday — oven-fried chicken, baked potato, sour cream and chives, steamed broccoli, carrots, fruit gelatin;

Wednesday — shish kabob, brown rice pilaf, colorful salad, Italian dressing, strawberries and yogurt;

Thursday — bacon/lettuce/tomato sandwich, macaroni and cheese, fruit salad;

Friday — Breakfast: pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal, coffee, orange juice, tea.
