Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: Feb. 23 – Feb. 27. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — tostadas, refried beans, corn, sopapillas, soup;

Tuesday — spaghetti and meatballs, zucchini, spiced applesauce, soup;

Wednesday — lemon pepper chicken, angel hair pasta, Normandy blend veggies, pudding, soup;

Thursday — award-winning chili, cornbread, soup, ice cream;

Friday – tilapia, rice pilaf, Brussels sprouts, soup, cake.

Activities

Monday — haircuts, 9:00 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; exercise class, 10:30 a.m.

Tuesday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m., bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — Alzheimer’s seminar, 10:30 a.m., Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m., blind support;

Thursday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m., Senator Reid’s office Q &A, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.;

Friday — exercise class, 10:30 a.m., bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Feb. 23 – Feb. 27:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — hamburgers, pasta salad, asparagus, birthday cake;

Tuesday — liver and onions, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn succotash, lima beans, tomatoes, bell peppers, onion, oatmeal raisin cookies;

Wednesday —chicken pasta, herbed veggie medley, chopped fresh spinach, garlic bread, spiced applesauce;

Thursday — beef enchiladas, Spanish rice, refried beans, fruit cocktail;

Friday — Spanish omelet, ham, hash browns, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, black cherries and yogurt.
