Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of: Oct. 5 – Oct. 9. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday — sweet garlic chicken, angel hair pasta, green beans, yogurt, soup;

Tuesday — lasagna, garlic bread, zucchini, fruit cup, soup;

Wednesday — kielbasa, potatoes, sauerkraut, applesauce, soup;

Thursday — meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, pudding, soup;

Friday – hot pastrami sandwich on rye, coleslaw, cake, soup.

 

Activities

Monday — Haircuts, 9 a.m. – 11 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; square dance class, 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Sheila Winn, End of Life Planning, 9 a.m. to noon; bridge, 12:30 p.m.;

Wednesday — United Healthcare open enrollment, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.; Old Men’s Club breakfast, 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.; Infinity Hospice Seminar “Conflict Resolution”, 10 a.m.

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m. – 9 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; Sheila Winn, “End of Life Planning”, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 5 – Oct. 9

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — beef patty on w/w bun, sliced tomato and lettuce, baked beans, melon, spice cookie, chicken noodle soup;

Tuesday — turkey pot pie, Key Largo vegetables, whole wheat roll, green salad, lemon bars;

Wednesday —pizza, green beans, peaches, green salad, apple spice birthday cake;

Thursday — Cajun cod, broccoli stuffed potato, garden salad, cracked wheat bread, fresh orange;

Friday — bacon/scrambled eggs, hash browns, oatmeal, yogurt and fruit, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 5 – Oct. 9

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Monday — French dip, steak fries, three bean salad, brownies, mixed fruit;

Tuesday — baked fish, rice, green salad, peaches, sugar cookie;

Wednesday —ham, eggs, oatmeal, banana bread, apple juice;

Thursday — baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed spinach, salad, fruit cup;

Friday — pork burritos, black beans, chips and salsa, peas, rice pudding, peaches.
