The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Oct. 30-Nov. 3: Two percent milk and juice available daily:
Monday – Sweet garlic chicken, noodles, spinach, apple, pinto bean soup;
Tuesday — Beef taco, ranch style beans, Mexicorn, rice pudding, soup;
Wednesday – Chicken cacciatore, glazed carrots, creamed cucumbers, whole wheat roll, rice pudding, soup;
Thursday — Pork stir fry, noodles, squash, fruit, split pea soup;
Friday – Beef tips and mushrooms, rice, green beans, yogurt pie, soup.

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;
Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Halloween costume contest, 11 a.m.; Bunco, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;
Wednesday —Flu shot clinic, 9 a.m. –noon, sponsored by DVH and CVS; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;
Thursday — Men’s Club, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippets (knitting and crocheting), 11 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;
Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.
Amargosa Valley Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) for the week of Oct. 30 – Nov. 3:
One percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Monday — Lasagna, chopped spinach, garlic bread, fresh orange;
Tuesday — Roast beef, steamed veggies, lima beans, apricots;
Wednesday — Baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, steamed spinach, lettuce and tomato salad, whole wheat roll, fruit cocktail;
Thursday — Hot turkey sandwich, peas and carrots, tomatoes vinaigrette, oatmeal raisin cookies, orange;
Friday — Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs with veggies, low-sodium sausage, oatmeal, yogurt with fruit, orange juice.
Beatty Senior Center

One percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Sweet and sour chicken, steamed brown rice, peas and carrots, fresh chopped spinach, whole wheat roll, oatmeal date bar.
