The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of June 5 – June 9. Two percent milk and juice available daily:
Monday – Swiss steak, rice pilaf, Normandy blend veggies, whole wheat bread, pudding w/fruit, lentil soup;
Tuesday — Chef’s salad, whole wheat roll, carrot/celery sticks, mandarin oranges, cake, soup;
Wednesday – Chicken parmesan, angel hair pasta, carrots, cookie, banana and orange, soup;
Thursday — Low-sodium ham steak, au-gratin potatoes, Brussel sprouts, Jell-O w/fruit, navy bean soup;
Friday – Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, mixed veggies, salad, whole wheat bread, fruit, soup.

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;
Tuesday — Farmers market, 9 a.m. to noon; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;
Wednesday — Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;
Thursday — Old Men’s Club, 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippits crocheting/knitting, 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;
Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.
Amargosa Valley Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 5 -June 9:
One percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Monday — Beef shepherd’s pie, whole wheat roll, pears, garden salad;
Tuesday — Lemon baked fish, corn pudding, steamed peas and carrots, honey wheat bread, tomato soup, ginger cookie, spiced applesauce;
Wednesday — Deviled pork chop, baked potato salad, steamed Brussel sprouts, colorful salad, tapioca pudding;
Thursday — Baked chicken, potato salad, seasoned lima beans and peas, peaches;
Friday — Scrambled eggs w/peppers and onions, biscuits and gravy, low-sodium sausage, oatmeal w/raisins, fresh fruit in season, orange juice.
Beatty Senior Center
The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 5 -June 9:
One percent milk and small salad bar available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Tuesday — Pancakes, scrambled eggs w/peppers and onions, mandarin oranges, oatmeal;
Wednesday – Fish tacos, Frijoles Charros, honeydew melon/cantaloupe;
Thursday — Deviled pork chop, baked potato, steamed Brussel sprouts, salad w/chickpeas, tapioca.
