Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of June 26 – June 30.

Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Chicken Caesar salad, breadstick, pudding with fruit, northern bean soup;

Tuesday — Philly cheese steak, coleslaw, potato salad, carrot/celery sticks, fruit, soup;

Wednesday – Sweet and sour pork, brown rice, cauliflower, salad, whole wheat bread, fruit, soup;

Thursday — Chicken teriyaki, fried rice, salad, fruit, soup;

Friday – Spaghetti and meatballs, whole wheat bread, zucchini, colorful salad, yogurt with fruit, lentil soup.

ACTIVITIES

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; BP checks, 10 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Wednesday — Dr. Tad Tenney “Diabetes Health”, 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.; Blind Support, 12:30 p.m.

Thursday — Old Men’s Club, 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippets, (knitting and crocheting), 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 26 – June 30:

One percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Spaghetti with meat sauce, mixed veggies, whole wheat garlic bread, colorful salad, apricots;

Tuesday — Sweet and sour pork, brown rice, steamed broccoli, mandarin oranges;

Wednesday — Meatball sub, cucumber in sour cream, fresh orange, split pea soup;

Thursday — Oven fried chicken, baked potato, steamed peas and carrots, garden salad, Jell-O with fruit, whole wheat bread;

Friday — Mexican egg casserole, low-sodium sausage, home fries, pineapple chunks, oatmeal, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 26 – June 30:

One percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs with sautéed veggies, low-sodium bacon, oatmeal, fresh fruit;

Wednesday – Beef stir fry, steamed white rice, beet salad, whole wheat bread, mandarin oranges;

Thursday — Oven fried chicken, baked potato, steamed peas and carrots, garden salad w/chick peas, Jell-O w/fruit, whole wheat bread.
