Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of June 12 – June 16. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Beef stir-fry, rice, beet salad, oranges, soup;

Tuesday — Turkey pot pie, mixed salad, whole wheat bread, apple, soup;

Wednesday – Apple-smothered pork chop, green beans, salad, cranberry sauce, carrot cake, northern bean soup;

Thursday — Chicken salad on croissant, carrot/celery sticks, fruit, onion soup;

Friday – Hamburger w/cheese, lettuce/tomato/onion, baked beans, fruit, soup.

ACTIVITIES

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Humana, 10 a.m.; BP checks, 10 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Wednesday — Senior Dimensions, 10 a.m.; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.; Michaelson Law Seminar Q&A, 10 a.m.;

Thursday — Old Men’s Club, 8 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippits crocheting/knitting, 10 a.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m.; exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 12 – June 16:

One percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, steamed spinach, lettuce and tomato salad, peach butter, Chantilly fruit cup;

Tuesday — Mushroom pork chops, steamed rice, green beans, applesauce, Jell-O with fruit;

Wednesday — Herb baked chicken, ranch beans, peas and onions, mandarin oranges;

Thursday — Beef enchiladas, Spanish rice, refried beans, fruit cocktail;

Friday — Steak and eggs, hash brown potatoes, peaches, oatmeal, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of June 12 – June 16:

One percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Roma burger, corn on the cob, baked beans, melon in season;

Wednesday – Pizza, three-bean salad, colorful salad, peaches;

Thursday — Flounder in cilantro sauce, Spanish rice, refried beans, mixed green salad, corn tortilla, fruit cup.
