Pahrump Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) and activities for the week of Sept. 19 – Sept. 23. Two percent milk and juice available daily:

Monday – Orange chicken, brown rice, peas and carrots, spinach salad, whole wheat roll, apple crisp, soup;

Tuesday — Baked meatloaf, mashed potatoes, broccoli, green salad, whole wheat roll, Jell-O w/fruit, soup;

Wednesday — Lasagna, carrots, garlic bread, three-bean salad, fresh fruit, soup;

Thursday — Tuna casserole, peas and carrots, sliced tomato, wheat bread, cookie, soup;

Friday – Baked cod, broccoli stuffed potato, garden salad, whole wheat roll, fresh orange, soup.

Activities

Monday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; beading class, 12:30 p.m.; poker, 12:30 p.m.; The Grove – Medical marijuana and seniors, 5–7 p.m.;

Tuesday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; bridge, 12:30 p.m.; haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Wednesday — Senior Dimensions 10 a.m.; Flu shot clinic, Smith’s Pharmacy, 9 a.m. to noon; Crafty Ladies, 12:30 p.m.;

Thursday — Exercise class, 9:30 a.m.; Rippets (knitting and crocheting), 10 a.m., haircuts, 1 p.m.;

Friday — T.O.P.S. meeting, 7 a.m., exercise class, 9:30 a.m., bridge, 12:30 p.m.

Amargosa Valley Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 19 – Sept. 23:

Two percent milk available daily. Meals are served at the Amargosa Valley Senior Center from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Breakfast served from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Monday — Chicken stir-fry, fried rice, broccoli, mandarin oranges, egg drop soup;

Tuesday — Spaghetti w/meat sauce, baked acorn squash, colorful salad, fat-free creamy Italian dressing, seven-grain bread, low-fat low-salt margarine, strawberry-banana yogurt pop;

Wednesday — Fish tacos, shredded cabbage and lime, Pico de Gallo, pears, Jell-O, birthday cake;

Thursday — Turkey bean burrito, Spanish rice, seasoned zucchini, apricot halves;

Friday — French toast, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, fresh fruit, orange juice.

Beatty Senior Center

The menu (subject to change) for the week of Sept. 19 – Sept. 23:

Two percent milk available. Meals are served at the Beatty Senior Center from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., on Tuesday and Thursday.

Tuesday — Spaghetti w/meat sauce, baked acorn squash, colorful salad, fat-free creamy Italian dressing, seven-grain bread, low-fat/low-salt margarine, strawberry-banana yogurt pop;

Thursday — Hot turkey sandwich, peas and carrots, orange spinach salad, toasted breadstick, fruit cocktail in lite syrup, apple juice.
