Changes are in store for Golden Casino Group’s properties

A slew of changes are coming to the Golden Casino Group’s properties in town over the next few months.

The player and retail rewards program with Golden Casino Group is getting revamped, which includes the Pahrump Nugget Hotel and Casino, Gold Town Casino and Lakeside Casino and RV Park properties.

The new rewards program is called Gold Mine Rewards, and it features a single-card solution enabling all guests (gaming and retail) to earn rewards across all three Pahrump sites.

The gaming group has dubbed the new card “3 Casinos | 3X the Rewards,” due to the fact that players can now achieve club tiers quicker having more than just one property to use their players’ card.

Utilizing the three properties means that members of Golden Entertainment’s players’ club can use one card at its Pahrump properties, which include more than 1,000 slot and video poker machines, Pahrump’s only table games, live poker and five restaurants. Points can now be earned and redeemed at all three properties using a single card.

Guests who are already enrolled in Club Nugget or G Club will not lose any points upon Gold Mine Rewards going into effect. All applicable earned points and comp dollars will be transitioned over to the new system.

In addition to the new players’ club there have been changes to some of the properties already this year, with more in store.

Golden Casino Group’s General Manager Jeremy Jenson said bingo continues to increase in popularity among all age groups, so it was the perfect time to remodel and update the bingo rooms at both the Nugget and Gold Town.

The Bingo Vault in the Nugget and Bingo Barn at the Gold Town both feature new bingo game technology and player-friendly programs. Bingo Vault features an enclosed smoking section and a non-smoking area, while Bingo Barn is a non-smoking room.

“We’ve been working hard on our new player and retail rewards system, making changes to benefit all of our guests,” said Jenson. “Along with the remodeled bingo rooms and the new dining concepts at Gold Town, our company continues to invest in all three Pahrump properties to benefit the local guests and visitors alike. We’re excited to share our changes with them very soon.”

The Pahrump Nugget will install a brand new marquee on Highway 160 in mid-February, which will feature a new digital board to highlight all property promotions, amenities and special events.

Lastly, at Gold Town dining options will get a change as well, offering Pahrump residents and travelers alike new concepts coming this spring.

The casino’s Calico Café & Buffet will be transformed into new two outlets, the Back Porch Café, featuring all-American fare in a coffee shop-style eatery, and Slices & Scoops, a rustic Italian pizza and ice cream shop.
