• Thomas J. Pennington was charged on June 16 with preventing or dissuading victim, person acting on behalf of victim, or witness from reporting crime, commencing prosecution or causing arrest, a felony; and domestic battery, first offense, a misdemeanor.

• Cecil Leon Slaughter was charged on June 16 with domestic battery (strangulation), a felony.

• Jason Arthur Altheide was charged on June 17 with battery by prisoner, attempt escape by felony prisoner, and habitual criminal, all felonies.

• Damien Demetrious Scissom was charged on June 17 with invasion of the home, a felony.
