BUSINESS:

Desert View Hospital Physical Therapy

AGE: 48

BACKGROUND: I have worked as a physical therapist for about the last 13 years. I always wanted to be a physical therapist as I thought it could help me use my interest in science, sports, and working with people. I have had the pleasure of working in many settings from providing home health care on the Navajo Reservation to being a program director at a college that trains physical therapist assistants.

FIRST JOB: Working for my dad at United Van Lines as a furniture mover when I was 16.

YEARS IN BUSINESS: Desert View Hospital Physical Therapy as an outpatient facility has been open about 6 months.

PERSONAL: I enjoy spending time with my wife and kids. My son is into soccer and is the goalie so I enjoy watching him and coaching him as he lets me. My daughter is a dancer and I love watching her dance. My guilty pleasure is playing video games, I am building my man cave with all the bells and whistles in it.

BUSINESS CLIMATE: Physical therapy is always in demand. It is often the best treatment option for patients with many different health conditions.
