BACKGROUND: “I drove tow trucks for 13 years in California before moving to Pahrump. I actually went to nail school when I was 16.”
FIRST JOB: “I worked at a hamburger stand in Orange County.”
YEARS IN BUSINESS: “I’ve lived in Pahrump for 12 years and worked here for 10 of those. I have a second job driving a school bus.
“Our shop supports Relay for Life and the American Cancer Society and we do a lot of donations through the Moose Lodge and give gift certificates out for fundraisers. We also have the Cancer Resource Center inside our shop.
PERSONAL: “When we have time, we like to go camping and make it a family affair. We enjoy gathering with family and friends. I used to play adult softball.”
BUSINESS CLIMATE: “I have to say that we’ve had very good luck. All three of us in the shop have been in Pahrump for over 10 years. We have a great clientele and all of our business is referral. We hardly do any advertising because we can’t keep up with the business. I had to hire a couple of girls to keep up with the overflow.
“We all stand behind our work and if a client is not happy, you have them come back and you redo them. When you’re in a small town people talk. If you’re providing a good service, people will refer your business to others.
