Prior to this Saturday, June 4, individuals and families who wanted to enjoy a day of activities at the lake had to drive roughly two hours to Lake Mead, just east of Las Vegas.
Thanks to the officials at the Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club in Pahrump, the drive is now minutes.
The resort has announced the Lake Spring Mountain Public Opening tomorrow.
Director of Marketing Todd Crutcher said visitors can now partake in a number of different recreational activities offered at the resort.
The four-acre freshwater lake and surrounding facility will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from noon to 8 p.m.
“With the purchase of the Day Pass, visitors will be able to partake in recreational swimming, volleyball, white sand beaches, and enjoy the Tiki Bar and lakeside lounging areas,” he said. “They will also have access to paddle boards, pedal boats, rafts and kayak rentals.”
Weekend Day Passes will be available in the Spring Mountain Welcome Center.
Crutcher said Saturdays are family days and open to all ages from noon to 6 p m.
From 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the adults can exclusively come out and play.
“Sundays will also be for adults only, open from noon to 8 p.m,” Crutcher said. “Twilight passes will also be available only for adults to visit from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., if they want to enjoy the Tiki Bar and white sand beaches during the evening. Day Passes are $15 per person or only $40 for a family of four. Children under 10 years are $10 and Twilight passes are $10 per adult.”
Additionally, Crutcher noted that Lake Spring Mountain’s facilities are available to rent out for weddings, receptions, as well as bachelor and bachelorette parties.
Spring Mountain CEO John Morris said the facility is very excited to invite their neighbors and friends to enjoy the newly completed Lake Spring Mountain.
“We hope it will bring our community together as a place for friends and family to relax and enjoy.”
Crutcher also said Lake Spring Mountain has an exclusive partnership with Jetpack America, located inside the Aquatic Center adjacent to the lake.
“Jetpack and Jetboard rides are available, as well as tandem rides for younger children,” he said.
Crutcher made certain to mention that the newest addition to the lakeside amenities is the full-service Tiki Bar, located mere feet away from the lake.
“The bar provides barstool and table seating along with alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, juice, water, a limited food menu and snacks available for purchase.”
