The Grove, Nye County’s only medical marijuana dispensary, is celebrating the approach of its opening by hosting an event aimed at helping patients to obtain medical marijuana cards.
The event, which is a collaboration between The Grove and Karma Holistic Health Foundation, takes place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at The Grove’s retail location at 1541 E. Basin Ave.
During the event, Karma Holistic Health will walk applicants through the process of getting a medical marijuana card. Applicants will receive $50 in discounts during the event, bringing total fees to $349.
All interested applicants are urged to bring a current photo ID, as that is required to start the application process.
The Grove is a full-service medical marijuana dispensary offering medical marijuana card holders quality product, patient support and education. The Grove is set to open its doors in March.
