Eljena Marie Peterson, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, has announced the opening of Tonopah Primary Care at 119 St. Patrick Lane in Tonopah.
Services being offered at the location include health care management for all ages: pediatric, adult and seniors, according to a news release. Other services being offered include preventative care for families, which encompasses annual wellness exams, school physicals and sick visits. In addition, services include disease and medication management, with plans to add wellness exams, preventative screenings and other services in the near future. Peterson studied to be a family nurse practitioner and has a master’s degree from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. She completed her residency with Dr. Gerald W. Peterson Jr., who passed away at the end of May. Tonopah Primary Care’s hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Wednesday. The office is also open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday.
