Pahrump area resident embarks on small business networking alliance

A first of its kind event in Pahrump is coming up this weekend.

The inaugural Pahrump Small Business Networking Alliance is the brainchild of resident Theresa Vail, who recently moved to the community from Washington state.

Vail dubbed the event as a Spring Fling.

“I am the president of the Pahrump Small Business Networking Alliance,” she said. “We have about 15 people in our group who have small companies. We are all about the community, which means giving back to nonprofit agencies and helping each other grow our businesses with referrals and such.”

The Spring Fling will include a vendor and crafter event at 4719 Vicki Ann Road on Saturday and Sunday.

“On Saturday, March 25, it’ll be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday the 26th, it will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.” she said. “It will only cost $25 for both days, which is really cheap. We have a lady from Las Vegas coming out to take part in our networking alliance. We are all about helping people.”

Additionally, Vail said, anyone is welcome to visit the Spring Fling.

She noted regular meetings are scheduled to begin next month.

“We meet twice a month at the Back to Roots business across from the main post office at 2341 Postal Road,” she said. “We meet at 4 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month. The next meetings will be April 5th and April 19th.
