Warmer dry weekend ahead for town

After a week full of cold weather, rain and even some snow, calm and warmer temperatures are on the way for the valley.

“Nice and dry,” said Andy Gorelow, National Weather Service meteorologist. “It’s going to be a pretty good weekend.”

High temperatures will increase each day heading into the work week, with calm, sunny conditions lasting for the next several days.

Today we will see a high temperature of 58 degrees with the overnight low dropping to 34 degrees. Saturday will top out at 61 degrees, while Sunday will reach 68 degrees, with lows of 36 degrees and 39 degrees respectively.

“There will be little, if no wind at all,” Gorelow said. “It will be a nice, mild and calm weekend.”

Highs will break into the 70s for the beginning of the week with Monday and Tuesday reaching 71 degrees and Wednesday topping out at 70 degrees. Lows will be near 40 degrees each day.
